Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$2148.80/week -

Job Summary:

Provide advanced perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy Level I Trauma Center. The OR RN will assist in all facets of operative and perioperative care within a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are ready for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth and efficient surgeries across various specialties.
• Monitor patient vital signs and apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Assist in scrubbing and circulating during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and proper procedure flow.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records, including EPIC.
• Respond quickly to intraoperative emergencies and provide support during trauma and complex surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of perioperative or OR nursing experience, with scrub skills preferred.
• Maintain current BLS certification;
  Radiation Badge required (agency-provided).
• Demonstrate experience in Level 1 trauma and specialized surgical procedures such as Transplant, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics.
• Ability to float within scope to various units or sister facilities as needed.
• Willing to work 4x10 hour days, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
