Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), 36 hours/week. Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with holiday rotation.
Job Description:
The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical conditions. The RN will float to various pediatric units within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and manage care for critically ill pediatric patients.
- Float between multiple units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU, based on unit needs.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, making clinical judgments as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with necessary experience.
- Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required.
- BLS and PALS certification (AHA) required.
- Experience with ECMO and CRT is a plus.
