Description:
This position is for a Pediatric Oncology/Infusion Clinic RN.The role involves working 5 days a week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.There is no weekend requirement and no on-call duty.
The RN will be required to float between two departments based on needs.
The daily patient census is approximately 15, with about 8 visits per day.
The unit will support patients aged from infants to adolescents.
This role requires a strong focus on monitoring chemotherapy administration.
Candidates must have experience in managing chemotherapy and pediatric dosage calculations.
Additional responsibilities include central line blood draw, IV antibiotic administration, and peripheral line care.
Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, the RN will also provide support related to infection prevention and isolation precautions.
All required certifications must be current before starting the position.
This travel position may involve local candidates being considered at a lower rate under specific guidelines.
Travelers must ensure they are compliant with any pre-start requirements prior to their start date.
During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed.
Candidates are expected to manage their schedules and be available for the duration of the contract.
