Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Cardiac Stepdown RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29204!

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step-Down

Columbia, SC | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating weekends | Holidays as needed

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Step-Down unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor patients via telemetry and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Perform IV starts and other required clinical skills within scope of practice
• Float between like units or campuses as needed based on census and staffing requirements, adjusting to the ratio of the receiving unit
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and holiday shifts as required
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (candidates with a pending license may be considered with proof of application; must have active SC license prior to start)
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Step-Down or relevant RN experience
• Telemetry and IV start skills required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be given priority consideration; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments

• Work in a well-established acute care facility with access to structured onboarding and orientation modules to set you up for success
• No on-call requirement, with expected weekly hours providing a consistent and manageable schedule
