Registered Nurse – CVICU

Columbia, SC | Acute Care

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, within demonstrated competency areas
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during assignment

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible (Adult ICU designation applies)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with cardiovascular critical care protocols and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-assignment module completion

• Expected schedule of 3x12-hour day shifts with a structured orientation process to support a smooth transition into the role
• Pre-assignment modules are billable (up to 16 hours), recognizing your time investment before the contract begins
