This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $80,000-$140,000 per year along with benefits like PTO, growth opportunities, and health insurance.
YOUR TYPICALHOURS:
Enjoy a consistent and predictable work week with our standard hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SITE SAFETY HEALTH OFFICER - QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST:Your work involves leadership, inspection, and collaboration as both the Quality Control Manager and Site Safety Health Officer on civil and utility construction projects. You implement the QC Plan using the USACE Three-Phase Control System, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes. This includes conducting inspections and tests, documenting findings, and maintaining reports. You also develop and enforce site safety plans, conduct daily inspections, and lead meetings, serving as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and government representatives on QC and safety matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:- 10+ years of experience in utility construction
- Valid Quality Control certification
- Completion of 30-Hour OSHA SSHO training
- Strong knowledge of utility installation, grading, concrete, and civil sitework
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to independently manage both quality control and site safety functions on federal/military construction projects
