The Pocivavsek Lab at the University of South Carolina Floyd School of Medicine seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to study how tryptophan metabolism via the kynurenine pathway, sleep, and cognition interact in rodents. Experiments include biochemistry (in vivo microdialysis, HPLC), pharmacology, and behavioral learning with EEG/EMG sleep recordings.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. by start date and experience with EEG/EMG, rodent work, and neurochemical approaches.
