Postdoctoral Fellow Position in the Norris Lab
The laboratory of Dr. Norris in the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to work on hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. We are looking for creative candidates with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics, a keen interest in developmental biology, experience in working with animal models, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience with grant submissions.
Experience with performing analyses related to various omics techniques such as RNAseq, scRNAseq, ATACSeq and downstream analyses is preferred. Additional experience with performing and analyzing Whole Exome Sequencing as well as dealing with large datasets related to genome wide association studies is a plus. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a significant level of independence and scientific initiative.
The applicant should also be able to demonstrate ability to mentor students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
