The combination of a strong Pediatric Endocrinology clinical program, the Department of Pediatrics, and the Darby Children’s Research Institute provides an exceptional platform for advancing discovery and translating research into meaningful improvements in child health.
The Department of Pediatrics is focused on advancing its academic and research mission through strategic faculty recruitment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continued investment in scientific discovery. The Sherman Endowed Chair represents an opportunity for an established physician-scientist to shape this continued growth while contributing clinically within Pediatric Endocrinology. PediatricEndocrinology Clinical Platform
The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology provides comprehensive care for children and adolescents with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions. The division offers a strong clinical foundation for a physician-scientist seeking to integrate patient care with research, education, mentorship, and scientific discovery. The successful candidate will contribute clinically within Pediatric Endocrinology while maintaining a significant focus on research leadership and program development.
