JOB OVERVIEW

As a Dishwasher you will provide clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment, operate industrial grade cleaning machinery and tools and upkeep clean and sanitary conditions of dishwashing areas and related kitchen spaces. Dishwashers will do general cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing and polishing. Dishwashers will ensure a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities are diverse in nature and include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass, and silver and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation.
• Responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas and assisting with proper food storage and rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision

• Must be able to work flexible shifts that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• No formal education/experience required
• Prior cleaning experience is an asset
