Field Sales Representative

Auris — formerly Heartland Payroll — is a payroll and HR partner built for small and medium‑sized businesses.

As a Field Sales Representative you will prospect and present Auris Payroll solutions to small and mid‑sized merchants and businesses, closing deals within a fast sales cycle. You will report to a Payroll Division Manager, receive coaching from a Territory Manager, and work closely with your local PDM or PTM to set appointments, run scheduled meetings, uncover needs and present solutions.

• Prospect new clients.
• Maintain client records in Atlas CRM, including call notes, scheduled interactions and contact information.
• Achieve minimum production requirements and set first‑time appointments to secure a win.
• Continuously build knowledge of product portfolio and industry developments.
• Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one sessions with leadership.
• Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
• Must reside in the area relative to the job posting location.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation and networking skills.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Incentive‑driven sales hunter.
• Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
• High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
• Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face conversations.

• Can spend a minimum of 50% of the time in the field.

• Prior experience in a B2B sales role.
• Experience with a CRM tool such as Salesforce or Hub Spot.
