Are you a high-performing, self-motivated sales pro who thrives on connection, competition, and helping homeowners transform their properties?
Do you want to earn $75K to $200K and more annually while being part of an award-winning team that wins together and grows together?
Are you ready to build a career in one of the fastest-growing industries in Charleston, with a company truck, full benefits, a paid training base while you ramp, and unlimited earning potential?
If you answered YES, keep reading! We Are Guided by These Core PrinciplesStrong Moral Compass. Guided by honesty, integrity, and faith in all we do.
Commitment to Community. Serve to be a blessing to our customers, team members, and neighbors at large.
Dedication to Personal Improvement. Personal growth equates to company success, and vice versa.
Work Smarter AND Harder. Diligence and improvement to provide an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
Who We AreWe are a six-time winner of Charleston's Best Of Award for Best Roofer (2021 through 2026) and a five-time winner for Best Home Remodeler (2022 through 2026).
New Beginnings Construction has served Charleston homeowners since 2006 as a residential and light commercial contractor. Our work spans the whole house: roofing, siding, windows and outdoor living, and kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations. Insurance restoration runs through all of it, so you sell both retail and claim-funded work rather than living on one or the other.
We are owner-operated. You will work directly with our Sales Manager and have the owners in the building, not behind three layers of approval.
A Day in the LifeNo two days look the same, which is most of the appeal.
You start in Accu Lynx: new leads assigned overnight, estimates waiting on a decision, jobs moving through production. Office set leads get contacted the same day, because a homeowner who waits until tomorrow has already called someone else.
Then you are in the field. You inspect the roof, the siding, the windows, and the flashing details nobody else looked at. You document everything in Company Cam, build the estimate, and present it in the home rather than emailing a PDF and hoping. On claim-funded work, you meet the adjuster, scope the damage, and support the supplement so the homeowner gets the full scope their policy owes.
You close the job, hand production a complete and accurate file, walk the job at start to confirm scope with the customer, and stay close through completion. Then you ask for the review and the referral, which is how the next three appointments show up.
Some weeks you are running company appointments back to back. Other weeks you are building your own pipeline in storm-impacted and aging neighborhoods. Monday mornings the whole sales team is together for L10.
What Matters MostTo thrive as an Exterior Project Advisor, these are essential:
- Two to three or more years of sales experience with a record you can point to, in roofing, windows, home remodeling, or another in-home sale
- The drive to self-generate. Canvassing, referral partners, networking, and storm work, not waiting on the office
- Comfort carrying a ladder and getting on a roof
- Selling ding value and walking from a job that cannot be sold at margin instead of discounting to close
- Presenting in the home and asking for the sale, with follow-up that does not stop after one voicemail
- CRM discipline. Leads, activities, estimates, contracts, and change orders current daily
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Willingness to move onto full commission once your training base period ends
Helpful but not required: roofing, siding, and window product knowledge, insurance claim and storm damage inspection experience, Accu Lynx or Job Nimbus, and an existing Charleston area network of realtors, property managers, adjusters, and referral partners. No construction experience? If you can sell, we will teach you the rest.
