Overnight Loss Prevention Agent
Under the supervision of the Loss Prevention Supervisor and Director of Loss Prevention, the Overnight Loss Prevention Agent is required to conduct patrols and surveillance of hotel property, identify irregularities and suspicious activities, react to emergency situations, follow-up with incidents that occurred on each shift and, at times, retrieve guest vehicles from the garage and assist with bell duties overnight (as needed).
EssentialJob Functions
- Ability to read, write, understand, and generate an incident report
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of emergency response to various emergency situations
- Answer phone calls or greet guests/employees in a professional, welcoming manner
- Constant attention to detail required to set priorities and follow up on assignments
- Must have the ability to communicate and deal with different levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner
- Ability to use initiative and judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Additional duties as directed, including assisting with bell duties and vehicle retrieval from hotel garage
- 11pm – 7am 3rd shift, with option to work selective 1st and 2nd shift hours if desired
- Minimum of 1-year security, loss prevention or hotel experience preferred
- Certifications in the fundamentals of First Aid, CPR, and AED use
- Able to pass criminal background check and possess an acceptable driving record
- While performing the duties this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time up to eight continuous hours
- The employee is also required to walk, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch
- The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs or ramp and lift and move up to 50 pounds
