Security Officer - Cheraw

Job Description

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Assist in maintaining a quiet, safe environment at the Medical Center.
• Ensure that the area (post) assigned to him/her is secure.
• Investigate crime and traffic accidents.
• Provide assistance for patients, visitors and staff as requested.
• Perform specialty duties as assigned.
• Supervise and maintain traffic flow at the loading dock.
• Schedule dock time for special events.
• Maintain log of all vehicles coming in and out of the loading dock on a daily basis.
• Escort administrative staff to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Monitor and review the health & fitness center camera system playback.

• Work schedule:
  
  80 hours bi-weekly.
• Complete SLED firearms qualification prior to employment.
• Pass the MRMC Psychological Evaluation prior to employment.
• Complete a ½ mile run prior to employment.
• Maintain annual SLED firearms certification.
• Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
