The South Carolina Department of Corrections seeks a capable supervisor to oversee security staff and inmate custody in medium to maximum security units. You will safeguard buildings and public property, conduct routine unit checks, and ensure OSHA standards are met.
You will also handle inmate counts and investigate complaints, with mandatory completion of eight weeks of SCDC Basic Training after hire. A high school diploma is required, and a related degree may substitute for experience.
