Job ProfileAs a Physical Security Lead within PNC's Physical Security organization, you will be based in Charleston SC.

The Physical Security Lead is responsible for leading key physical security programs supporting the organization’s international operations and Southeast regional footprint. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, this role will have primary responsibility for the International Traveler Safety Program, physical security oversight of international facilities and offshore delivery centers, and regional physical security support across South Carolina.
The Physical Security Lead will also support other markets throughout the Southeast region as operational needs, incidents, projects, or emerging risks require.
This position serves as a trusted security advisor to business leaders and employees, combining international security expertise, physical security risk management, intelligence monitoring, incident response, and regional security operations.
Key Responsibilities International Traveler Safety- Lead the enterprise International Traveler Safety Program and provide security support to employees traveling outside the United States.
- Conduct pre-travel risk assessments and provide country- and location-specific security guidance.
- Monitor travel to elevated- and high-risk destinations and develop appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Coordinate secure transportation, lodging, protective services, and other security resources when warranted.
- Maintain traveler tracking and emergency communication capabilities.
- Support executive and high-profile international travel planning.
- Provide real-time support to international travelers during security incidents, emergencies, and major disruptions.
- Provide physical security oversight for international facilities, including offshore delivery centers.
- Conduct and coordinate physical security risk assessments and annual security reviews of international locations.
- Partner with local business leaders, Information Security, Corporate Real Estate, and other stakeholders to evaluate security risks and controls.
- Develop recommendations to address identified vulnerabilities and track remediation efforts through completion.
- Maintain consistent physical security standards and assessment practices across international locations.
- Support security planning for new international locations, expansions, relocations, and other business initiatives.
- Serve as the primary physical security lead for facilities and business operations throughout South Carolina.
- Conduct physical security risk assessments and provide recommendations to reduce risk to employees, facilities, and assets.
- Respond to and support security incidents, threats, workplace violence concerns, criminal activity, and other physical security matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other public safety partners.
- Support security awareness initiatives and provide security guidance to employees and business leaders.
- Partner with security vendors and internal stakeholders to address guard, security technology, and facility protection requirements.
