As a Lead Elevator Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing elevator systems primarily for residential and light commercial clients. This position offers a balance of hands‑on technical work and direct customer interaction, with strong opportunities for long‑term growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on elevator systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Install new elevator systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Respond to emergency service calls and perform after‑hours repairs when required
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns professionally
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in training junior technicians
  • Conduct system testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Stay current on advancements in elevator technology
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
Qualifications
  • Strong electrical or mechanical background
  • Willingness to obtain elevator‑specific certifications (training provided)
  • Prior elevator experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability for on‑call or after‑hours work as needed
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, circuits, and blueprints
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Physically able to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment
