Field Service Mechanic / Shop Mechanic / Project Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to provide field and shop services for a variety of gas & diesel-powered equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with heavy machinery, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in both shop and field environments.

• Repair and maintain diesel engines used in construction machinery, generators, dump trucks, off-road vehicles, aerial lifts, forklifts, support vehicles, and cranes.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, disassemble engines, and inspect components for defects or wear.
• Recondition or replace parts such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves, and bushings using precision tools and machinery.
• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and industry standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of a trade school program or equivalent technician certification preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Caterpillar and Volvo equipment.
• Proficient in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication, and electronically controlled engines.
• Self‑motivated, safety‑oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be capable of being exposed to hot, cold and wet conditions.
• Ascend/descend stairs, ladders and elevated walkways.
• Ability to lift 50lbs (one person) and 80lbs (two people).
• Walk, stand, and stoop for extended periods of time.
