* Job Summary:

** As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems and related infrastructure on a variety of projects. This position involves operating heavy machinery (
* excavators, track hoes, skid steers, backhoes*) to perform trenching, grading, and material handling in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
** Responsibilities:
*** Assist in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on diverse projects.
* Operate Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
* Ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
* Perform work with hand tools as needed.
*
* Qualifications:

*** Minimum 5 years of operating experience of large Excavators / Track Hoes / Skid Steers / Backhoes.
* Knowledge of Ductbank installation.
* Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments.
* Ability to dig trenches by use of hand tools and equipment.
* Must be able to pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Atlantic Electric conducts pre-employment, post-accident, and random testing.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
