Zone Maintenance Painter

This journeyman-level Painter primarily performs skilled maintenance painting across MUSC Health-owned and leased facilities, including surface preparation, repair, priming, painting, finishing, and touch-up work. The role also provides minor carpentry and general maintenance support within assigned service zones. The position responds to work orders, completes preventive and corrective maintenance, uses hand and power tools safely, and works independently to support facility appearance, safety, and operations with minimal disruption.

Work is performed in accordance with established safety and Infection Prevention guidelines to support clean, compliant, and patient centered environments. This role is designated as Essential Personnel and may be required to report or remain available during emergencies, severe weather, utility disruptions, public health emergencies, and other operational events.
