Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The Carpenter will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role.

Installs Footing Forms

Builds and Installs Wall and Column Forms

Builds and Installs Structural Deck Forms

Sets Slab-on-Grade Forms

Preps and Sets Tilt-up/Precast Forms

Works with Building Layout

Ensures a Safe Work Environment

Participates in Training/Certifications

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills, including experience with framing and finish carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements.
• Understanding of job site safety practices and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Previous experience in concrete or general construction is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to job sites within the Charleston Metropolitan Area.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training or apprenticeship experience is a plus.
