We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our vibrant and professional team at one of the city's most iconic hotels.

What you'll bring to the team:

• Drywall repair and finishing
• Painting and touch-up work
• Trim, molding and carpentry repairs
• Doors, locks, hinges and other hardware
• Furniture and fixture repairs
• Tile, caulking and cosmetic repairs
• Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
• HVAC and general mechanical systems
• Preventive maintenance and equipment care
• Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions

You'll work throughout the hotel, from guest rooms and suites to public spaces and back-of-house areas, helping us maintain a property that our guests are proud to experience.

The role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping the hotel's physical plant, equipment and guest areas operating safely, efficiently and beautifully.

Your day may include responding to a guest request, completing a work order, repairing a plumbing issue, touching up a room, fixing hardware, troubleshooting HVAC equipment, or putting the finishing touches on a public area.

You'll also:

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and department maintenance requests.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently and document completed work.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for maintenance and cosmetic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret meters, gauges, blueprints, schematics and technical information.
• Maintain tools, equipment and engineering supplies.
• Help maintain accurate inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Support hotel safety, fire/life-safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Work independently while knowing when to collaborate with the Engineering team or outside vendors.
• Share your knowledge and skills with other team members.
• Help identify opportunities to improve the appearance, operation and efficiency of the hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.

Schedule:

Full-Time First Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Full-Time Second Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
