- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls according to scheduled maintenance plans
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
- Prioritize issues based on safety and operational impact
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems, safety equipment, and structural components
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and major maintenance projects
- Ensure quality standards and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and building codes
- Work weekends on third shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related technical field
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capacity to diagnose complex system issues
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and various weather conditions, and participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation schedule as required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Technical school certification in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred
- EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling or HVAC technician certification preferred
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems such as MAXIMO, Tririga, Corrigo, or similar platforms preferred
- Knowledge of fire safety systems, security systems, and emergency generators preferred
Demonstrates expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintains compliance with safety protocols and building codes while effectively coordinating with contractors and managing maintenance records.
