Field Service Representative

About This Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to deliver exceptional on-site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll work independently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

• Technical Service & Installation
  • Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
• Water Testing and Analysis
  • Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform (Insight)
• Customer Consultation
  • Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
• System Optimization & Troubleshooting
  • Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
• Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Territory Management
  • Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery

• Consistently deliver high-quality technical service that exceeds customer expectations
• Complete installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting projects on time
• Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise and professional service
• Maintain safety standards and compliance in all industrial environments
• Contribute to territory growth through technical excellence and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies

• Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Safety-minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
• A valid driver's license(a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)

Preferred

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Familiarity/experience with water treatment processes and industrial equipment

• In this role, you may be required to travel
• You must be ableto lift and carry 30-50 pounds and perform precision work (frequency varies by worksite)
