The Therapeutic Assistant reports to the Nurse Manager and works under a registered nurse to provide patient care in the 1N Acute Care Unit. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions and discharges, ensuring safety in the therapeutic environment, and supporting activities of daily living for patients with acute psychiatric conditions.
Minimum training includes Therapeutic Assistant I or II with related education or experience.
