Senior Magento Software Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior Magento Software Developer
to join our established Magento Software Engineering team.

This role would be suitable for a candidate who has up to 3 years’ experience of commercial web development in PHP frameworks e.g. Magento 2, Word Press or any other PHP framework.

Reporting the Technical Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience of software architecture, design, coding and technical development process of building web applications.

You will increase your knowledge and experience of building eCommerce websites using Magento working with an experienced, established, certified Magento Developers.

You will be given the opportunity to gain further Magento Certifications to support you in being a leader of architecture and technical strategy.

• Individually contribute code to projects
• Peer review code created by other team members
• Architect and develop new integrations and custom extensions
• Review comprehensive functional specifications to meet architectural challenges

Skills that are required:

• 3 years of commercial software development
• In-depth knowledge of Magento framework, system architecture, themes, modules, functionality and configuration.
• Deployment scripting across development, staging and production environments.

Skills that are desired:

• Experience of any PHP based framework
• Linux, Nginx
• Git-based source control
• MySQL
• Containers, infrastructure as code practices
