Overview

Sod Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled and driven Full Stack Developer & Systems Integrator to join our Technology & Operations team. This role is central to the development, maintenance, and growth of our digital infrastructure — spanning our public-facing web presence, proprietary software development, internal software systems, and AI-powered tooling.

The ideal candidate is a versatile technologist who is equally comfortable writing production-grade code and supporting day-to-day operational needs. You will own technical initiatives end-to-end, collaborate closely with the Director of Technology & Operations, COO and CTO, and play a meaningful role in shaping how our technology evolves.

Key Responsibilities AI Software Development
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools and automations to improve internal efficiency and customer experience
  • Integrate AI APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into existing platforms and workflows
  • Identify opportunities where AI can add measurable business value and lead execution
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to company needs
General Full Stack Development
  • Write clean, maintainable code across the full stack
  • Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical planning
  • Build and maintain APIs, database schemas, and server-side logic as needed
  • Contribute to technical documentation, version control practices, and deployment pipelines
Web Support & Development
  • Manage and resolve web support tickets and tasks in a timely manner
  • Oversee website hosting environments, uptime monitoring, and performance
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance company websites using modern web technologies
  • Implement new features, landing pages, and UI/UX improvements
E-commerce Integrations
  • Support and maintain customer websites and e-commerce sales integrations with our proprietary logistics software
  • Build and manage the integration for e-commerce sales and transfer of orders
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, data sync failures, and platform bugs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and ship new platform features
Internal Software Stack Support
  • Serve as a primary technical resource for internal software programs used across the organization
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for internal users
  • Document software configurations, workflows, and known issue resolutions
  • Evaluate and recommend tooling improvements as business needs evolve
Hub Spot Development & Support
  • Support day-to-day Hub Spot operations including workflows, forms, pipelines, and reporting
  • Build and configure Hub Spot features to support marketing, sales, and operations teams
  • Complete Hub Spot-related tasks and project requests from internal stakeholders
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on Hub Spot best practices
Qualifications
  • 2–5+ years of professional experience in full stack or web development
  • Proficiency in back-end development:
    Node.js, PHP, Python, or equivalent
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and RESTful API design
  • Demonstrated experience developing with AI APIs or building AI-integrated applications
  • Experience with web hosting, DNS management, and deployment workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to support non-technical users
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Preferred
  • Hub Spot platform experience (CRM, Marketing Hub, CMS Hub, or Operations Hub)
  • Familiarity with third-party software integrations and webhook-based data flows
  • Experience in an agriculture, e-commerce, or field-service industry
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices (Git)
  • Background in UX/UI design or product thinking
