Fleet Maintenance Manager, Fleet Manager

Heritage Pools LLC is looking for a Fleet and Equipment Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, organization, and tracking of our company’s vehicles and equipment.
As Charleston’s leading pool builder, we rely on a well-maintained fleet and properly functioning tools to keep our projects running smoothly. This role is essential in ensuring all company assets are well-maintained, safe, and ready for use.
The Fleet and Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing the maintenance, inspections, and tracking of all company vehicles, trailers, and tools. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the longevity and reliability of company assets.

- Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Fleet Maintenance & Management
- Schedule and track oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Conduct weekly and quarterly vehicle inspections and document results.
- Maintain all fleet-related accessories, including towing equipment and batteries.
- Ensure all vehicles have current license plates, insurance, and required documentation.
- Track all repairs, maintenance, and inspections for company tools and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain trailers, ensuring all wiring and safety components function properly.
- Ensure all power tools, air compressors, and other mechanical equipment are properly lubricated and operational.
- Manage fuel levels and ensure all equipment is ready for use.
- Oversee company grounds maintenance to ensure cleanliness and security.
- Manage building repairs and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Ensure company property is well-organized and maintained for efficiency.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in fleet management, equipment maintenance, or logistics preferred.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize maintenance schedules.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand for extended periods.
