    Job Title: Logistics Associate

    Location: Charleston, SC

    Duration: Full time/direct hire

    Salary: $41,600-$44,720 DOE

    Position Summary

    The Logistics Associate plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Logistics Department, including receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipping of goods. This position ensures all materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Perform all logistics functions—receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipment—with professionalism and adherence to departmental standards.

    • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations related to logistics operations.

    • Accurately receive incoming goods, both physically and in the SAP system, following all company policies and quality standards.

    • Track and manage all material movements and storage locations through SAP, ensuring precise inventory control.

    • Maintain organized documentation for all logistics activities, including receiving, delivery, and customer paperwork.

    • Interact professionally with external partners, including carriers and third‑party logistics providers, to support on‑time deliveries and pick‑ups.

    • Perform required inspections on outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.

    • Follow company procedures for handling receiving discrepancies such as damaged, incorrect, or missing materials, collaborating with internal teams as needed.

    • Utilize company systems—including SAP—accurately and consistently as part of daily job duties.

    • Support Lean Management and 5S initiatives by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area and reporting any safety concerns or process improvement opportunities.

    • Adhere to all company policies and maintain compliance across all job functions.

    • Demonstrate flexibility by performing additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals and organizational success.

    Education & Experience Requirements
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners.

    • Experience with SAP software preferred.

    • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive and customer‑focused attitude.

    • Capability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
    • Ability to safely perform all essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and related standards, including meeting productivity expectations.

    • Ability to maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

    • Frequent walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching required.

    • Regular exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

    • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

    • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
