Job Duties

- Home daily
- 22+ years of age
- A valid driver’s license
- Previous yard switcher experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening(s)
- Non-Excepted Interstate

What You Will Do
As a Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
The Yard Driver provides dependable transportation services while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires careful vehicle operation, sound judgment, and consistent attention to transportation procedures.
Successful Yard Driver candidates understand the importance of maintaining equipment, following delivery schedules, and operating vehicles responsibly under changing road conditions. Strong communication and professionalism contribute to successful transportation operations.
