Warehouse Worker (Day Shift

Job Summary

Anticipated hourly range: $19.08 per hour - $21.94 per hour based on experience.

Work schedule:

8:00 am - 4:30 pm (or working until the work is complete), Monday‑Friday. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Unloads trucks in the inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices.
• Uses the Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• Stores refrigerated specialty products following applicable regulations.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads them into outbound trucks.

• Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Can bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
• Comfortable working at heights of 20‑30 feet regularly.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) (preferred).
• Experience with radio frequency (RF) scanners and/or voice‑to‑pick (highly preferred).
• Ability to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities while working independently or as part of a team.
• Aptitude to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment and meet hourly performance standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various warehouse areas.
• Adheres to site safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toed safety shoes and material handling equipment safety harnesses.
• Accounts for Cardinal Health’s EHS and QRA policies and procedures.

• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods in the assigned area.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
• Handles routine assignments requiring some problem resolution.
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
• Adheres to all quality guidelines.
• Operates under a moderate degree of supervision.
• Work typically involves regular review of output by a work lead or supervisor.
• Refers complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.
