Overview
Our client, a leading distribution and logistics organization, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Forklift Operator Order Picker to join their team. As an Order Picker, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management, shipping, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn and adapt, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Order Picker
Location: Charleston, SC
Pay Range: $18.00
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities- Assist in managing, controlling, and monitoring warehouse processes and workflows
- Manage inventory levels and supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Support training and development of warehouse staff across various activities including receiving, stocking, processing, and shipping
- Prepare finished products for shipment according to customer requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages to prevent disruptions
- Good understanding of inventory management principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
- Cycle counting experience is required
