Schedule:

1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + OT until 4 PM & Saturdays as needed

Looking for Material Handler jobs in Charleston where every shift keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time.

This opportunity is based on a Material Handler career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials and products.
• Load and unload shipments, verifying the accuracy of received and dispatched items.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using handheld devices for inventory tracking.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
