Our client, a large Charleston distribution center, is seeking dependable Material Handlers and Powered Equipment Operators to support daily warehouse operations. These positions are responsible for safely moving, picking, staging, and processing products throughout the facility. These positions are located in Daniel Island, SC!
Shift: 1st shift - 6:00am or 6:30am to 2:00pm or 2:30pm (overtime required) - $17.51/hour2nd shift - 2:30pm to 10:30pm (overtime required) - $18.51/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Unpack boxes of merchandise
Place items into display packaging
Repack display boxes into larger boxes for shipment
Select and check product quantities for accuracy
Perform quality checks to ensure product standards
Labeling, wrapping, and quality assuring pallets
Assist with general labor and housekeeping as needed
Qualifications and
Physical Requirements:
6+ months of warehouse and/or powered-equipment experience required.
RF scanner and basic Warehouse Management System experience preferred.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours, frequently squat, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and concentration are required.
Ability to hear instructions, alarms, and equipment warning signals.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
Must be safety-conscious, dependable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment.
