Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $22

Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing items to sales associates for processing.
• Review work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas as directed.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins using predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.
• Maintain warehouse organization and safety by following procedures, wearing proper safety equipment, and completing additional tasks as assigned by management.

• Forklift Operation experience and comfort operating safely in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to use an RF scanner and support inventory, distribution, and order accuracy.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Experience assisting with inventory counts, including physical inventory support and item verification.
• Ability to follow written instructions, complete documentation in computer systems, and meet timeliness expectations.

• Work in a warehouse environment where your accuracy and pace directly support daily operations.
• Clear, hands-on responsibilities across receiving, storage, distribution, and shipping support.
• Opportunity to build consistency by assisting with inventory counts and maintaining organized work areas.
• Support facilities maintenance duties as needed to help keep operations running smoothly.
