West Virginia Tax Division is seeking an entry-level auditor who, under close supervision, examines tax returns for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with state and federal rules. The role requires developing knowledge of tax laws and applying independent judgment to audit selection.
The incumbent will communicate with taxpayers and field personnel, generate audit selections in Gen Tax, prepare audits for mailing, and maintain audit process reports.
