Starting at $18.08/hour (probationary period)

Increases to $19.23/hour upon permanent hire

A local company in the Charleston area is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant I to join their team. This position is responsible for performing basic accounting tasks and supporting financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, relevant experience, and strong foundational accounting skills.

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Relevant accounting experience
• Basic accounting skills, including familiarity with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently

• Monday
