Travel Requirements
Travel to all district counties may be required:
Roane, Jackson, Calhoun, Wirt. Some travel and a valid driver's license is required.
Join our growing team as an Office Operations Assistant with the Department of Human Services, Bureau for Family Assistance!
Responsibilities- Perform various clerical duties including customer service, logging clients to the appropriate department, answering and directing phone calls, scanning documents.
- Run, sort, distribute, and scan incoming mail, email, and faxes.
- Follow office policies and procedures.
- Operate various types of office equipment.
- May be trained as a financial clerk and an equipment coordinator to assist in a backup role.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and office machines preferred.
- Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
