Legal Secretary Opportunity

United Talent Staffing is currently recruiting a Legal Secretary for a respected law firm in Charleston, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional seeking long-term career growth in a collaborative legal environment.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Successful long-term placement may transition into a salaried position

Front Desk & Client Relations

• Greet and welcome clients in a professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Conduct client intake procedures

Administrative Support

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail
• Scan, fax, print, and copy documents
• Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems
• Provide administrative support to office staff

Legal Support Functions

• Prepare and type legal documents
• File court documents
• Review documents for accuracy, proofreading, and revisions
• Draft and respond to email correspondence

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Typing proficiency required (minimum 50 WPM preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Professional demeanor and reliability
• Prior law-office experience preferred
• High school diploma required (Office Management certification preferred)
