Data Entry Clerk

A local company is seeking a full-time data entry clerk to input data in a timely and accurate manner.

As the data entry clerk you are responsible for inputting data in a timely and accurate manner into the information database. Compiles with or assists in the compilation of statistical information for special reports. Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary, and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports.

• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• At least one year of previous work experience
• Be neat, well groomed, and have a courteous, pleasant manner
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service and problem solving skills
• Clerical skills including word processing, and filing
• The ability to work quickly and accurately, and pay attention to detail

Evaluation-to-hire position

Hours are Monday through Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm. Pay rate is $18.00/hour.
