Nature of Work
This position reports to the Director of Operations for the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation serving all Bureaus of DCR. Under general supervision, performs aspects of fiscal, purchasing and auditing. Will monitor and manage major agency contracts to ensure compliance; monitors agency budget in relation to contracts and services. Conducts research on products and supplies required by the agency. Will participate in evaluation committee practices in the RFP and RFQ process.
Research and draft proper specifications for needed agency contracts for the purchase of goods and services. Coordinate and chair committees made up of subject matter experts both internal and external to provide input into needed bid specifications for the purchase of goods and contracted services. Review all monthly services and commission reports to ensure commission amounts are correct. Maintain balance spreadsheets of commissions received.
Manage and compile data for reports to be reviewed by DCR Executive Leadership. Reviews accounts receivable and accounts payable reports to assist Parole Services with debt owed by Parolees. Provide monthly reports of Parole Supervision fees and Electronic Monitoring fees to DCR Executive Leadership. Other duties as assigned. Occasional travel required.
Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the required training at a rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) hours of training.

Experience:
Five (5) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid administrative experience in organizing and coordinating administrative program initiatives.
