• Write, edit, and publish a high volume of news and culture content daily
• Collaborate closely with editorial, audio, and social teams for cohesive coverage
• Identify and elevate emerging stories relevant to Black audiences
• Participate in real‑time coverage during breaking news events
• Apply SEO and tagging best practices to enhance content discoverability

• 1–3 years of experience in digital journalism, web producing, or content creation
• Proven experience writing and editing online content, including articles and headlines
• Familiarity with CMS publishing tools and basic image editing
• Working knowledge of SEO, tagging, and content optimization best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field preferred

• Strong editorial judgment and a genuine love of news and cultural conversation
• Experience publishing or promoting content on platforms like Instagram and Facebook
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
