At Work Force WV, this position is in the Field Operations unit located in the Martinsburg local office. The role involves interviewing customers to obtain information related to unemployment benefits or job placement, performing data entry, and providing referrals to available jobs and partner agencies.

• Interview customers to gather information about unemployment benefits or job placement.
• Enter data accurately into the system.
• Assist job seekers by identifying available positions and referring them to partner agencies for services such as transportation and training.
• Work with employers to encourage posting of job openings, make appropriate referrals, and verify hires.
• Follow agency policies and procedures, process job orders, and follow up with employers.
• Answer phone calls from customers and employers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment, or equivalent educational experience based on the substitution criteria listed below.
• Eligible substitution:
  Successful full-time or equivalent part-time study from an accredited college or university may be substituted at a rate of thirty (30) semester hours for each year of required experience; vocational school training may be substituted at a rate of 1080 clock hours per year of required experience.
• Probationary period of 1 year.
