Description- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, with the ability to modify during the school year.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Utilize best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom.
- Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities as needed.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hold or be eligible for a WV Professional Teaching Certificate, Restricted Substitute Permit, Short-Term Permit, or Long-Term Substitute Permit.
- Have successfully completed a substitute teacher training course to obtain a WV Substitute Teacher Certification.
- Must pass a background check.
Salary is based on experience and education level per the CBOE salary schedule, plus a competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
