AEP is seeking an experienced instructor to lead operator training courses for fossil plant operators, including classroom and simulator-based instruction. The role aims to develop knowledge, skills and confidence, improve plant availability and reduce start-up time.
The instructor will develop content, manage the Simulator Learning Center schedule, mentor other instructors, and coordinate with plant management and other teams to align training with operator learning needs.
