After School Tutoring Teacher for Math and/or ELA $30 per hour, Funding Source: GEAR UP SWV Up to 96 hours each during the  School Year Position will begin October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027

• 1. Tutoring students in needed grade levels and assignments.
• 2. Maintain and submit monthly tutoring logs
• 3. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description.

However, applicants are responsible for verifying the completeness and accuracy of information contained in his or her personnel file.

• 1. Certification, Licensure, and/or Both in Math and/or ELA for grade levels 10th - 11th
• 2. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description

• 1. Be able to impart information and orally communicate with students, families and others.
• 2. Be able to understand and respond to oral communications and directions.
• 3. Be able to read, write, understand and respond to written instructions,communications and materials.
• 4. When supervising a group of students, have the capacity to ensure thesafety of, observe, supervise and assess all situations involving a student, a group of students and co-workers.
• 5. For Elementary, K and Pre-K - Have mobility, strength, and dexterity to be able tolift a student weighting up to 40 pounds; interact at each student's maturity level and size; and retrieve students who wander and/or run from the group.
