Wayne County Schools is seeking an Autism Mentor to support classroom instruction under the teacher's direction. The role requires a high school diploma or TASC, and certification steps including the Autism Mentor standards and CPR/First Aid training.
The aide will maintain student records, prepare notices, supervise activities, and ensure classroom safety. Experience with autistic students is required; regular staff development is expected. Travel may be required in some cases.
