Development Trainer

Aboutthe Role:

As a CBRE Developmental Trainer, you will be responsible for partnering with business units to identify learning needs and to provide appropriate solutions by designing, developing, and rolling out a variety ofhigh-level programs and training content.

This job is a part of the Talent, Learning & Development functional area which focuses on developing, implementing, and evaluating employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs.

• Createand administer training programs in three key areas:
  Learning Resources,Content and Curriculum Development, and Learning Platform Operations.
• Create evaluation and measurement tools for platform offerings.
• Identify needs and recommend smart solutions that meet CBRE learning demands. Facilitate these updates when needed.
• Partner with subject matter experts to develop content and update training materials,programs, and curriculums.
• Approve and manage communication and marketing plans for new courses and training updates.
• Assure through audits, evaluations, and reports, that all new content and learning programs are consistently administered in compliance with governance guidelines.
• Review training metrics and feedback to evaluate learning effectiveness that helps drive department goals.
• Remainup-to-date and savvy in learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and know how to put those into best practices.
• Gatherand analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with littleor no precedent. May recommend new techniques.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Havea broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors thatare consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
• Impactthe quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

• Bachelor'sDegree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered.
• Acomprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
• Abilityto evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
• Abilityto analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Technical career and pathway development experience; preferred.
• Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
• Intermediate skills with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), other Learning Management Systems(LMS), and the ADDIE method; preferred.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Development Trainer position is $80,000.00 annually [or $38.46 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Development Trainer position is $90,000.00 annually [or $43.27 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
