Role OverviewWe are looking for an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer to join our Charleston, WV team, supporting work in Transportation and Water Resources. As a member of the team, you will contribute to a variety of projects, drive profitability, and collaborate with a group of like-minded professionals in a fast-paced, can-do environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions
- Support senior engineers in project planning and execution
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Conduct research and analysis to solve engineering challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Certification: EI/EIT certification desired but not required
- Experience: 0–3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Software: Microsoft Office proficiency required;
AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a plus - Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Travel: Ability to participate in periodic day travel required
