This is an opportunity to lead complex public water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning
through construction while serving as a trusted advisor to municipalities, regulatory agencies, and project
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Oversee project teams preparing engineering plans and specifications
- Provide technical leadership for civil engineering and utility infrastructure projects
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, funding agencies, and regulatory organizations
- Coordinate environmental studies, permitting efforts, and technical deliverables
- Attend and present at public meetings and stakeholder events
- Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Identify future project opportunities and support business development efforts
- Mentor and coach junior engineering staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with public water and sewer infrastructure projects in West Virginia
- Strong background in hydraulics, water resources, and water/wastewater treatment
- Proven leadership and project management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
- Passion for delivering quality work and taking ownership of projects
